Jade is one of the coolest gemstones out there. We happen to have a very intense love affair with Jade. In fact, that's why it's our design rockstar, taking center stage in so many of our jewelry designs.

Pure Jade is white. It is a metamorphic rock, meaning it is a rock that changes into another one by pressure and temperature. As it combines with other elements, it changes in color. The effect is a rainbow assortment of Jadeite.
We honor the importance and value that Jade held in ancient Mayan Culture. It was known the "Stone of Kings." Jade is a unique part of our heritage and we want to share it you.
We believe in caring for people, and that starts with everyone in our supply chain. The local jade miners are paid well-above living wages for their work. We get to know them and their families, and frequently accompany them on the arduous trek to prospect and mine the jade.
Guatemala is the exclusive source of some very rare and unique varieties of Jadeite Jade, such as Luna Jade (a translucent white color), Lila Jade (a pale lavender), Jet Black Jade, and Galactic (dark green or black with inclusions of Platinum, Gold, and Silver).
UN FACT: Imperial Green Jadeite, an intense and transluscent green jade, is actually the most valuable gemstone in the world!
Many other stones that are sold as Jade but have a completely different chemical composition. Often, Jadeite is artificially treated with acid and bleach to change the color and translucency. This compromises the stone, affects quality, and devalues its natural beauty.Write here...
Jadeite is beautiful because-not in spite- of its imperfections. Each inclusion, each flowering line, each shade of color- makes it special and unique. We embrace this and think it is a wonderful metaphor for embracing our own imperfections.
